Have you tried our sweet and savory rice bowls? To add more color and flavor on your rice bowls, try out this easy sauce we made with Datehini.
Ingredients:
1 cup of basmati rice, cooked and mixed with butter, salt and turmeric
Serve with:
Roasted red peppers
Roasted carrots
Thinly sliced red onions
Chopped spring onions
For the sauce:
1 tbsp of Datehini Original
1 tsp of lemon juice
1 tsp of oregano
1 tbsp of water
Salt
Instructions:
Place rice in a bowl and top with the roasted vegetables, red onions and spring onions
Mix the sauce ingredients and drizzle over the rice bowl
This is delicious and very nutritious. I add chicken or shrimp for protein as well.
